Wingspan: What school did you choose?
Garrigus: “University of Arkansas Monticello.”
Wingspan: Why did you choose this school?
Garrigus: “Because they have a good golf program and it’s close to home.”
Wingspan: What aspects appeal to you?
Garrigus: “Like I said, they have a good team, the coach is extremely nice as well as the players.”
Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?
Garrigus: “I am expecting a lot of dedication and time to be spent on the golf course because the grind never stops.”
Wingspan: How long did it take to make this decision?
Garrigus: “It took me a pretty long time to make the decision. After sending lots of applications and emails to college coaches, it took me a while but I think I found the right school.”
Wingspan: What other options were you contemplating?
Garrigus: “I was probably contemplating the chemistry throughout the team and the compatibility that I would have with the players.”
Wingspan: How do you plan to prepare?
Garrigus: “Just practicing a lot of golf and making sure all my school work gets handled.”
