Wingspan: What made you choose art?

Meeker: “I’m not good at instruments or sports. I have average intelligence and I enjoy art so I drifted towards it.”

Wingspan: How does art affect your everyday life?

Meeker: “I am always aware of art and colors around me. I see everyday things and notice how pretty it is.”

Wingspan: What is an artistic outlook on life?

Meeker: “I see things as do what you want to do. It’s important to get a job that will make you successful but then work in what you like to do.”

Wingspan: Can you describe an experience where art has benefited you?

Meeker: “I have become more open to criticism. Usually when people critique me I used to hate it, but now I go up to people and I ask for them to critique me.”

Wingspan: Do you view art as a form of expressing yourself? How come?

Meeker: “Yes, I am really big on freedom. I like the idea of flying and it’s also a stress reliever for me.”

Wingspan: Are you considering this as a career? How do you plan on pursuing this?

Meeker: “Not by itself, but I want to go into advertising which involves animations and drawings.”

Wingspan: How is your personality reflected in your work?

Meeker: “I don’t usually use color but when I do it becomes very chaotic like me. It’s very in your face and gives of a very ‘I don’t care what you think’ vibe.”

Wingspan: When you are not painting or drawing what are you doing?

Meeker: “I like playing games and watching YouTube.”
