Taking on the Carrollton Ceekview Mustangs, the football team hopes to get its first win Friday night in the homecoming game at Memorial Stadium starting at 7 p.m.
“We aren’t going in expecting it to be an easy game because that’s what we did last week,” junior Damian Stuver said. “But I’m feeling confident that we will win though.”
The second of the team’s three non-district games, the players are excited to see where the 2018-2019 season takes them.
“This is our homecoming game so we have a lot of hype and energy entering the field,” junior Anthony Ortiz said. “This game will give us a taste of victory so we can do the same every week.”
