Deforest: “I just keep singing.”

Wingspan: What’s the biggest challenge of being in varsity as a freshman?

Deforest: “The biggest challenge is probably sight reading, the music just by itself is definitely more advanced. As I said before the advanced music and sightreading it gives me a challenge, it helps me learn more.”

Deforest: “You definitely have to work for it, it’s not just something people say you’re a natural. You have to work for it, you have to do exercises, and really be committed to it.”
