Wingspan: What’s been your favorite memory?

Collier: “My favorite memory was actually from few days ago, Spring Show 2019.”

Wingspan: What’s your favorite style to dance? Why?

Collier: “My favorite style to dance is contemporary because it is easier and I like the emotion that goes with it.”

Wingspan: What was it like performing in spring show this past weekend for the first time?

Collier: “It was such a fun experience to be back on stage since I haven’t been in a while. I loved dancing with all my friends and it made me want to dance even more.”

Wingspan: What have you learned about yourself through dance?

Collier: “I have learned that I can learn dance much better on the right side of my teacher. It’s so strange.”

Wingspan: What is it like to be in the dance 3 class?

Collier: “It is so fun. I love Mrs. Gonzalez and all the dancers in the class.”

Wingspan: How do you handle your mistakes during a performance?

Collier: “I just pretend like it didn’t happen and keep going better than I did before.”

Wingspan: What’s the biggest challenge of being a dancer?

Collier: “The biggest challenge would be getting the technique right.”

Wingspan: What is your advice to anyone who is interested in taking dance on campus?

Collier: “I recommend doing it for sure because it is super laid back and you will learn more and more as you go through each level. Don’t worry if you have never danced before. You will learn. The dance classes are not difficult; they are fun, I highly recommend.”
