Salata review
May 3, 2019
Salata, a salad lover’s dream come true. Salata is a next-generation salad bar restaurant where you can create your very own salad or wrap, just how you like it.
Walking in, diners will be impressed with the overall look to the restaurant. The paint and furniture were all in bright colors, which gave a nice, fresh and clean vibe to the atmosphere.
Once I got in line, the process began. After picking the size of the salad, it was onto choosing the base. The options ranged from romaine lettuce to kale to spring mix to spinach. I went with a spring mix romaine lettuce combination called the “Salata Mix.”
Then it was time for the toppings. Toppings ranged from carrots, mushrooms, jicama, snow peas, corn, beets, green olives, green apples and dried cranberries. To finish it all off, there were a variety of different dressings, such as a lemon vinaigrette, balsamic vinegar, ranch and honey mustard.
Wraps are also on the menu with tortilla choices ranging from whole wheat, Southwestern, Cool Cucumber to Texas BBQ. The same toppings available for salads could be chosen for the wraps.
All the fruits and veggies were extremely fresh and I loved the fact that I could mix and match to my tastes
For desert, Salata offered a wide range of cookies, from oatmeal raisin to chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia, fulfilling every type of sweet tooth that comes through their line.
The prices were worth the amount of food customers get, especially since you can add as many toppings as your heart desires. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really refreshing and the same goes for the quality of produce they served. I was extremely satisfied with my experience and I will most likely be visiting again.
