Many people, from many different generations believe for one reason or another that the 1969 moon landing was fake. But how fake? And what does fake actually mean?

The Moon Landing

As a disclaimer, I think this one is ridiculous. However, if you believe in one conspiracy theory, a general rule of thumb is to keep an open mind. Many people, from many different generations, believe for one reason or another that the 1969 moon landing was fake. But how fake? And what does fake actually mean?

In this situation, we will assume the term “fake” in relation to the moon landing is that we did NOT land on the Moon in 1969, and the footage is doctored and interviews fabricated. The main reason that I have heard is that the radiation of space on the moon would have made it impossible to film there. This, however, is false.

Cameras coated in lead and in a lead casing could make it possible for the film to survive. Another reason would be the American flag flying in the “wind”. But if the Moon is in space, with no oceans, how can there be wind? Again, another simple answer. The flag isn’t a normal flag. It has horizontal rods in it to prevent it from hanging lamely down because that wouldn’t seem very triumphant, would it?

I  would bet my life that we landed on the Moon, but others aren’t so sure. What do you think?
