Future Job: most likely an art teacher.
Wingspan: How long have you been doing art?
Jager: “I’ve been doing art ever since I was little.”
Wingspan: What got you interested in art
Jager: “I’m not really sure what first sparked my interest in art, but I do know that I’ve always liked looking at other people’s art.”
Wingspan: What has been your core inspiration?
Jager: “I was really inspired by the meaning and beauty in the art done by others, and I really wanted to do that too by incorporating it into my own art as well.”
Wingspan: What type of art classes have you taken so far?
Jager: “I took a few art classes when I was younger, and took more classes throughout middle and high school. I started with the basics and worked my way up to sketching and practicing with different mediums.”
Wingspan: How has art changed your perspective on life?
Jager: “It helps me to appreciate how beautiful our world really is and that I’m so very thankful for all the amazing colors out there.”
Wingspan: How do you use art to express yourself?
Jager: “I have my own style of art that I use to show my individuality and perspective on different things. I also use specific colors to express my feelings.”
Wingspan: What project are you most proud of?
Jager: “So far I have one from freshman year and one I did not long ago.”
Wingspan: What are you currently working on?
Jager: “Since I am currently taking 3 Ap art classes I have three projects, but I have only started on two of them. One consists of air-dry clay to create a 3D sculpture and the other is 2D which I am drawing digitally.”
Wingspan: Why does art play such an important role in your life?
“It’s important for me because not only do I enjoy doing art, but I will also be doing art in my future career.”
