Once one is fully vaccinated, they are way safer when participating in certain events and activities compared to those who have not been vaccinated. This week, staff reporter Haillie Hughes discusses what fully vaccinated people can do.
Fully Vaccinated
An increase in vaccinations and a decrease in cases, means new opportunities are becoming available. As more and more people continue to receive their first and second doses of the various COVID vaccines, more and more people can also begin to live how they were before the pandemic. Unfortunately, there are those who have disregarded guidelines and such and have had the privilege of living a fairly normal life this whole time, but for those who have struggled along the way, we’re one step closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.
Once one is fully vaccinated, they are way safer when participating in certain events and activities compared to those who have not been vaccinated. As displayed in this chart by the CDC, those who are vaccinated and continue to take precautions are way less vulnerable than those with no vaccine taken.
In regards to groups and gatherings, as long as everyone is vaccinated, masks and social distancing don’t have to be used. The chances of catching the virus decrease significantly and everything overall is a whole lot safer.
We’re so close to putting an end to this virus in the U.S, and full vaccinations bring us one step closer to what we had before this all started
Neer mor spiced buttermilk
Neer Mor is the south Indian name for spiced buttermilk. It is traditionally served as the end of meals because of its digestive benefits. It is also the perfect drink for the sweltering heat during the summer months because the blended yogurt cools the body from the inside out. It is an integral part of south Indian thalis and is a popular drink served to the gods in order to “relax” them.
