Chapter 1: Arman

February 26, 2016

When I was put into Journalism 1, I sat next to this kid. He for sure was not an upperclassmen with the way he was looking at the school wide eyed. It was obvious he was a freshman. His name is David, and David and I are opposites.

While I enjoy sports, David loves the arts. He loves theater and all that good stuff. So when the idea was pushed to me by my classmates and Mr. Higgins to go on this bro date and share with each other our different passions, I said why not.

First off, many people may not know, but I am not solely into sports and what not. My parents have played a huge part in my expansion of interests. They always encourage me to do an abundance of events. I played music, sports, and even started writing.
I do not dislike the arts. Honestly, they’re really enjoyable. I went and saw a Broadway Musical two summers ago called ‘Pippin’ and I really thought it was a cool experience. So this notion that David has that I dislike the arts is kinda wrong. It just isn’t my favorite thing.
