Wingspan: Do you ever feel out of place being a freshman on varsity?
Hanson: “I don’t really feel out of place at all. The upperclassmen have been so welcoming and I knew some of them coming in so that was nice.”
Wingspan: Are you going to continue playing softball throughout high school?
Hanson: “Yes, absolutely. I have loved the experience so far and will definitely continue in the future.”
Wingspan: How long have you been playing softball?
Hanson: “I have been playing softball since I was three.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite part about playing varsity softball?
Hanson: “My favorite part of varsity softball is all the friends and memories I have made.”
Wingspan: Why did you decide to play softball?
Hanson: “I decided to play softball because I’ve been doing it my whole life and I love the sport.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration?
Hanson: “My biggest inspiration is my mom. She always supports me in anything.”
Wingspan: What is the most difficult part about softball?
Hanson: “The most difficult part of softball is the mental game especially when I’m pitching and trying to overcome that.”
