Wingspan: How did you discover your talent and passion for art?

Shujaat: “My mom used to be really into art, and she used to sell art, so I got inspired by her artwork, and I’d do it by myself.”

Wingspan: How has art affected your life?

Shujaat: “It has brought a lot of peace and happiness. I have something that I can do to relax, and I have something I’m good at.”

Wingspan: What is your favorite medium of art? Why?

Shujaat: “Recently, I’ve been really liking oil paint because it is easier to use.”

Wingspan: What do you think inspires your art?

Shujaat: “I think what really inspires me is what I’m feeling at the moment and what I want to be at that moment.”

Wingspan: Who motivates you to continue drawing?

Shujaat: “My family and my friends really motivate me to continue doing art.”

Wingspan: How can you see art impact your future?

Shujaat: “I think, especially since I’m going into designing and interior design, it’ll make me more creative when it comes to planning things out and doing projects.”

Wingspan: What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone who wants to pursue art?

Shujaat: “Never give up. Even if you think it’s just not working out, keep going.”
