While senior Luke Martin has a few weeks left of being a Redhawk, he made his plans official on Friday to become a Pirate. Pictured left sits senior Nick Banks, who made the decision to be close to family as he continues his football career at Fort Hays State University.

Wingspan: “What school did you choose?”

Martin: “I chose Southwestern.”

Wingspan: “Why did you choose that school?”

Martin: “I chose Southwestern because it was the best fit for me academically and athletically.”

Wingspan: “Was this a hard decision to choose this school?”

Matin: “It was a hard decision because I had to choose between there and Hendrix College which I also really liked.”

Wingspan: “What are you expecting from being a college athlete?”

Matin: “I’m expecting college football to be difficult but for it to pay off as I head into the real world.”
