Review: Simple but challenging game app
May 10, 2016
I’m not a gamer because one, I don’t like games that takes days or hours to move to the next level, two, there’s so much work to do; interaction with other people, trying to get to the next level, screaming, yelling, movements, etc. But games that challenge me by causing frustration and dissatisfaction peek my interest, like the app Stack.
Stack is a game where you tap the screen to put each block on top of each other without misplacing its position, while trying to get the blocks to their highest point possible. For example, if you start off with a big block, you have to continue stacking it in the same position with the same size of block, so it can be in a straight line, but it gets faster and faster and eventually blocks get misplaced.
To make the game even harder, the blocks gets smaller and smaller which can be frustrating because your eyes start moving back and forth which can cause players to get dizzy. That can lead to more problems as players will soon start to misplace blocks, so they start falling and eventually, all of the blocks fall down and the game ends.
This game is highly recommended for people that like simple, yet challenging games. It’s nothing more than stacking blocks on top of each other, but players must focus to go as far as possible. Even though I’ve decided to delete this game due to the distraction it causes and lots of cursing, it’ll always be one of my favorite apps in the game category.
