Track and field ran to the finish Saturday at the Trojan Relays in Carrollton.
“This past weekend we had 13 personal bests, which is great and it shows that we’re making progress every week,” head boys coach Robert Thayer said.
Despite the successes of the team, there is still more work to be done, according to Thayer.
“We’re sitting high in certain events, obviously we have some areas we need to keep working on and we’ll be moving kids around this week to adjust to that,” he said.
Junior Evan Bullitt agrees, and strives to do better and work harder for future meets.
“I always think there’s room for improvement,” he said. “I really wanted to PR but I didn’t. I know why I didn’t though, so I’m ready to improve and eliminate errors for the next meet.”
