With a loss earlier in the week to Centennial, the Redhawks must beat the Titans Friday to secure a playoff spot. There is currently a four way tie for fourth, and one game left in the season.
Baseball takes on Heritage for the second time this week looking for another win on Friday against the Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. at The Nest.
“Tonight I hope to accomplish a good team win,” sophomore Nick Smith said. “Where we are all together mentally physically and high energy in the dugout and just being correct on the little mistakes in the past.”
When the two teams saw each other the Redhawks had a slow start, initially being down. Senior Tommy Carter believes this is a mistake the group cannot make again.
“They were close to winning so they think they will have a chance,” Carter said. “So it’s important we start strong.”
