<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Though both of their days in high school are numbered, with graduation taking place on May 18, the memories made at state are one Wilkins will cherish forever.</span>
<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>“I am very satisfied with the results,” Wilkins said. “This meet was an incredible opportunity, as throughout the meet many records were set and I got to see and compete against some of the best athletes in the country.”</span>
<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Similarly, Voehringer believes that his final race as a Redhawk was an almost cinematic experience.</span>
<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>“I ran a fairly smart race, going out and just racing as hard as I could,” Voehringer said. “I have never raced in front of that many people before, but I handeled it the best that I could. The environment was everything you would want for a state championship. It was really surreal and exciting.”</span>
