The school is hoping to bring the hype early with their annual Redhawk Rally Saturday from 6-8 p.m. in the gyms as the campus builds excitement for the year with food, fun, and performances.
“Redhawk Rally is a great way to bring everyone together from different parts of Liberty and invite the community to come to our school to be a part of our annual fair and pep rally,” Student Council Vice President Kathryn Murphy said. “There will be many student groups and organizations along with different vendors who will be selling their goods. It is also just a great way to kick off the school year.”
One of the various organizations participating in the rally is the Redhawks cheer team. The group will be performing an all-new Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader-inspired routine to engage the crowd.
“So this year our captains thought it would be fun to put their little spin on the DCC routine,” head cheer coach Kandy Stevens said. “It’s powerful music and it’s fun, nobody can just sit through it.”
