Going into their final home match of the 2024-2025 season Friday at 5:30 p.m., the first-place Redhawks volleyball team (11-1) will be playing fifth-place Emerson (5-7), looking to sweep the Mavericks for the third time this season.
Following their 3-0 defeat by the Hockaday School Killer Daisies Tuesday, it’s tournament time for Redhawks volleyball as they face many other North Texas high school volleyball teams Thursday through Saturday.
“We are playing very, very good teams,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We need to focus on playing one point at a time and be very intentional. It’s easy to get too high or too low in games, we just need to stay controlled and focused throughout each matchup.”
Senior Mackenzie Raymond believes that communication could help the Redhawks be successful in the tournament.
“We play well together and we’re really strong communicators,” Raymond said.
