Volleyball seeks a second win against Independence in an away match Tuesday
Facing Rockwall Heath Friday at 6:30 p.m. Redhawks volleyball seeks to maintain their momentum from a mostly successful long weekend.
“We are a strong ball control team, which will hopefully let us work on the speed of our offensive tempo,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We need to work on defending the deep corners of the court, [but] we are motivated to have another successful night on Friday.”
With district play beginning Tuesday, players such as senior Mackenzie Raymond are ready for their final non-district game.
“We have a lot of confidence going into this game,” senior Mackenzie Raymond said. “We have also worked a lot on different shots that will be successful against Rockwall.”
