As District 11-5A play continues for volleyball (2-1), their goal of maintaining consistency will be put to the test when they travel to take on the Heritage Coyotes (2-1) Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
“We are feeling good coming off two solid wins in a row,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We want to continue the offensive consistency and be really good at defensive coverage.”
According to Dobbins, the teams have something of contrasting styles.
“We are pretty scrappy and working on speeding up our offensive tempo,” Dobbins said. “Heritage is a little bigger than us and stronger blockers.”
With both teams having the same record, players such as senior Sophie Paulk know what’s at stake.
“We cannot underestimate them,” Paulk said. “We need to make sure that we stay strong and consistent throughout the entire match.”
