Forty-five Frisco ISD students were named National Merit Scholar Finalists Friday, hoping to be awarded a portion of the 32 million dollars offered each year. In order to be a finalist, students must submit a scholarship application displaying high academic achievement, involvement in campus and community activities, and include the endorsement of a school official as well as an essay.
