Although school will not be in session during the summer, some extracurricular activities will be.

Red Rhythm will be hosting a mandatory camp for all 2017 – 2018 members in Houston during the summer.

The camp will give members a chance to bond and get to know the new incoming students and vice versa.

“I’m really excited for the Houston camp because it’s gonna give the team a new opportunity to grow closer and bond all together,” sophomore Haley Hammons said.

In addition, this will give students the opportunity to improve in their dancing skills.

“The Houston camp is something that we’ve never done before it’s a traveling camp and while we’re there we get to learn all the dances for the year,” sophomore Mallory Kalka said. “It’s great opportunity to see each girl grow as dancers.”

The camp will be held on July 29 through August 1.
