Orchestra’s first concert of the year takes place Thursday in the auditorium starting at 7 p.m.

“[Thursday’s] concert is the fall concert. We have three concerts a year plus our UIL contest, so this is an annual thing,” Assistant Orchestra Director Victoria Lien said. “It’s a good way to show off what the students have been working on from the beginning of the year until now.”

The orchestra concert is free with Lien believing the fall concert will help students in the long run.

“It’s a good starting point from where they will be at the end of the year,” Lien said.
