Campus club seeks to unite and involve

The Black Student Union is a club designed for African-American students to unite and involve themselves in many group building activities.
The BSU looks deep into issues involving African-Americans in society whether it be in school, the district or worldwide.
Along with Sisi Simo, group president James Matthis created the club to better the involvement of black students in the schooL
“The Black Student Union is a social group for all students,” BSU president James Matthis said. “We are not exclusive and our goal is to try to better incorporate African-Americans in the school and also grow and also teach students about African american culture as well as eliminate some of those negative stereotypes.”
