Turkey Drive benefits FFS
November 10, 2017
StuCo is managing the Turkey Drive for Frisco Family Services on campus through November 13th.
While in years past, students were encouraged to bring canned food to school, to help with the Turkey Drive students can donate 12 dollars using MyPaymentsPlus.
“So the main reason that we decided to do my payments plus instead of canned food is mainly because with the recent Hurricane Harvey donations a lot of the food banks are actually very stocked up because of everyone wanting to give to the food banks,” senior Jeffrey Nebeker said. “Frisco Family Services they said that they were in need of some frozen turkeys for the season and we decided to help out with that.”
