Frisco ISD is hosting its annual monthly meeting tonight in the boardroom of the administration building.

The monthly school board meeting will be discussing tax reports and the approval of 2018-2019 furniture, fixtures and equipment start-up budget of the four new schools opening this august.

Some athletes and coaches on campus may be paying extra attention to one item on the agenda that involves the replacement of the competition field turf and indoor activity turf on campus.  

“We are hopefully getting our turf replaced,” head boys soccer coach Fred Kaiser said. “It will be safer and won’t be sworn and will help with potential head injuries, ankle injuries and knee injuries.”

The meeting is from 7:30pm to 10pm, at the administration building.
