As the end of the year comes into view, college is an important topic for seniors. To help prepare, all senior parents have been invited to the Coffee with Counselors session in the auditorium Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 8:50 a.m.

Parents will be educated on the Collin College administration process, and will have the opportunity to ask any other questions or concerns they might have.

“The goal of the meeting is to talk with parents of students who plan to attend Collin College,” campus college and career counselor Brittany Portnoy said. “The discussion will go over Collin as a whole, explaining why Collin may be the right choice, the degree programs offered, school size, tuition costs, transferability and university partnerships, the different campuses, different services offered at each location, intramural and college life, and scholarships and financial aid. After the meeting during first period students signed up to complete an application and will be called down for help with this.”
