Every year Student Council uses some of their budget to give back to the school, last year, they provide charging stations around the cafeteria free for student use, and this year they added tables in the foyer connecting the two core academic hallways.

With the addition of an advisory period this year, students have time to hang out between second and third period. Most students spend this time in the halls or in the cafeteria, but now there is another option.

“Stuco purchased these because we realized that there were a lot of people standing outside the windows,” Student Council president Jeffery Nebeker said. “And we want them to have a better place to sit.”

Student Council decided to purchase the tables and chairs because of how much use they believed the students would get out if them.

“During advisory and before school students will be able to use them all the time,” Nebeker said. “We hope that students will utilize them and have fun with them.”
