Two Redhawks were among the 14 Frisco students honored by the Frisco City Council on Tuesday during its American Legion Boys State recognition ceremony.

Seniors Stafford Johnson and Wade Glover were recognized for their participation in a week long summer camp in Austin.

Boys State is a program where each student becomes a part of the operation of their local, county, and state government and learns what it means to be a franchised citizen.

The group received an official plaque that stated all the honorary members’ names, indicating the proclamation of the day.
