Hanging out and making new friends is just part of the agenda for Friday’s Back to School Orchestra Bash.

“It’s basically like a picnic where all the orchestra students are free to come and hang out,” orchestra assistant director Victoria Lien. “It’s a great way to meet people from across different orchestras in different schools.”

Orchestra students are ready for something other than rehearsals.

“I’m looking forward to meeting new people and having fun with the rest of the orchestra,” senior Saahithi Joopelli.

With the possibility of rain, the orchestra may host this event in the school orchestra room.

“If it rains, which it probably will because it’s Texas, we are bringing it back here to the orchestra room,” Lien said. “We will still have fun but it will be adjusted games to fit more inside instead of volleyball.”
