Early voting begins Monday

Early voting begins Monday and runs to Nov. 2 with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in both Collin and Denton counties may vote at any polling location in the county in which they reside.

In-person voters must have a photo ID at the time of voting. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Texas driver license issued by the Department of Public Safety
  • Texas election ID certificate
  • Texas personal ID card
  • Texas license to carry a handgun
  • US military ID card with your photograph
  • US citizenship certificate containing your photograph (doesn’t need to be current)
  • US passport

Election Day is Nov. 6 with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
