Parking on campus will be a lot easier the rest of the year as students can now park in the band parking lot with marching band season over.

“I’m really excited because now it will be a lot easier to park my car because there are so many students here that drive cars, now that the band parking lot is open,” senior Brayden Miller said. “My schedule is a lot more flexible and I have the opportunity to go to more school events at different times if need to.”

Opening the band parking lot will also be an advantage to students in the fine arts department due to the short distance the parking lot has to their classrooms.

“I think opening the band parking lot really gives students the opportunity especially in band to have a less distance to travel,” band director Zach Anderson said.“Students that are looking for parking can alleviate the stress for them trying to frantically search for parking in the morning.”
