UNICEF is hosting a speaker event Wednesday after school in the lecture hall from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. about human trafficking. Speaker Lily Espinoza is the UNICEF USA Community Engagement Fellow in Dallas, Texas.

Co-President Ria Bhasin hopes members will be more aware about human trafficking after the event.

“I hope that members gain a greater sense of awareness about this problem that plagues our society. I hope that they are invigorated to take action to stop human trafficking locally and globally.”
