After a 19-6 loss to Lebanon Trail Tuesday night left the team with 2-6 District 9-5A record, softball faces another challenge Friday at 7:15 p.m. when they host the 6-3 Wakeland Wolverines at home.

With two games left in the first half of district play, the team is 3.5 games out of the final playoff spot, with more than half the season left.

“Our goals as a whole are to make playoffs,” junior Lauren Ransom said. “The team has been working really hard in all of our practices too so I’m expecting a win tonight.”
