Worn out roads. Massive old trees. A finger painted on the building showing you where to park. Then turning the corner to find a little southern style boutique sitting at the end of the street. Small flower beds surround the entrance of a glass door with a blue chalkboard welcoming customers. Above: a sign that reads Twisted Simplicity.

One has just entered a family owned and operated boutique that sells clothing, jewelry, gifts, candles, accessories, bath and body and more. Twisted Simplicity has only two locations: one on Main Street and the other in Waco.

Not only does this store have fashionable clothes but it also is very decorated itself. Most of the walls are bricks with wood planks as backboards to hold the clothes. The store is very cozy and welcoming and the country music just contributes to the soothing tone.

Most importantly, the clothes are high quality. It’s not the type to just fall apart the first time it’s worn. There are clothes for people with both casual styles and with a more fancy taste. Their colors vary from dark, dull tints to bright and interesting colors.

Customer service was nothing special. The owner welcomed us and when we left he just said thank you. When asking questions, the owner will probably answer with short answers yet he still gets the job done. Despite him not talking much he was very kind. Their clothes were not very casual but yes more formal and more dress clothes and only for women and teens.

Even with all of its benefits, every store has its downsides. For starters, Twisted Simplicity has high quality clothes, yet for many, the prices aren’t that pretty. With prices for an infinity scarf around $34, and some blouses around $30 or more, the clothes aren’t suitable for many budgets.

This store is a good place to spend your money, if you have money to spend. With high quality clothes and a cool interior design, Twisted Simplicity is the place to go.
