Toppling the Titans, volleyball continues winning streak

Adding on to their winning streak, the Redhawk volleyball team beat the Centennial Titans 3-1 Friday night at The Nest for the team’s 5th straight win in District 9-5A.
“I really thought going I would be a tough match, Centennial was a well working team, with a lot of good players,” head volleyball coach Ui Womble said. “They played really well and challenged us in the match.”
Sophomore Lauryn Hill was excited about both the crowd, and the team’s unity on the court.
“I thought everyone was invested into every point even the student section and we came together as a team, especially the 3rd and 4th set to finish,” Hill said. “I thought it was a fun game because it provided us with different challenges that we were ultimately able to overcome and win.”
