For the sixth game of the District 9-5A season, the Redhawks are revving up for a match against the Lone Star Rangers, Friday at 5:30 p.m. in The Nest.

“Friday should be another solid game for us,” head volleyball coach Ui Womble said. “I’m looking for good ball control on our side and pushing out offense at a quicker pace, and hopefully keep up the volleyball we’ve been playing.”

Junior Caitlyn Brown is excited for the match, and is hoping to get momentum early in the game.

“I expect to come out strong, and ready from the get-go, because we’ve had some issues with that in the past,” Brown said. “We’re really working on that, and trying to get started as soon as the game begins, so that we can start off with a good lead.”
