Students have the chance to show off their moves at annual Homecoming dance on Saturday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in the gym.

Student Council member, junior Kallin Brown is excited to see all the plans put into action.

“I’m looking forward to dancing and hanging out with my friends,” Brown said. “Student council has done so much to prepare from making signs, selling tickets, making decorations, and promoting the dance, I think all the hard work stuco will payoff in the aspect that the dance will be so fun and enjoyable, all students should go to the dance because not only is it fun but it’s an integral part of the high school experience.”

Senior Tristian Maravilla is gearing up for his last homecoming dance.

“I attended the dance and it was really fun,” Maravilla said. “The decorations and vibes were cool. Everyone should attend the dance because it’s fun if you make it fun. Even if you have a bad time, the worst thing that happens is you spent $25. A lot of people get dinner, but people can do that on any other day. It’s bittersweet because I’m a senior. I’m excited to have a stress-free fun night, but it’s my last homecoming, so obviously I am a little sad.”

After attending every dance so far, senior Lauren Ransom believes it’s a must for everyone to go.

“I have gone to the dance since my freshman year,” Ransom said. “I have loved the dances because they are so fun. I think everyone should go to the dance because you only get 4 homecoming dances in high school.  it is a good place to just cut loose with your friends. I feel sad that it is my last homecoming but im super excited for prom.”
