Sustaining an unmatched record, volleyball took its 17 straight district win on Friday, against the Heritage Coyotes, leaving only one game left in District 9-5A play.

“I’m really glad we just took care of it, and just got a win by playing our game,” senior Jenna Wenaas said. “Even though we’re first in districts, I’m glad we can keep the wins going.”

The team’s regular season ends Tuesday, and with the playoffs beginning the week of Nov. 4, Wenaas hopes the team’s winning streak doesn’t end any time soon.

“I’m sad that the season is over, because it’s really the end of an era, but I’m glad we still have playoffs to look forward too,” she said. “I’m glad this season was so good, and I hope we can keep it up.”
