Ripstick Birthday Cake

I have been baking for friends and family for a long time and recently my treats have been the talk of the neighborhood. I had been deliberating the start of a business for quite some time but it was merely an idea. A couple of days ago this idea was fueled by a request from my neighbor asking for a birthday cake for her son. I figured this was my calling and plunged right into the action.

Growing up my family has dealt with a couple of health complications and eating the right diet was a big part of our recovery. From a young age, it has been drilled in my mind that eating the right food for your type will guarantee and ensure you maintain a healthy lifestyle. And right now I feel like I am ready to share all this built-up knowledge with other people and give my passion and outlet to grow.

That being said, I have been working on the cake ever since. It was a simple birthday cake but I was still ecstatic. The 10-year-old birthday boy was obsessed with his new ripstick, so I designed the cake in light of his new hobby.
