The counseling office will be sending an email to all underclassmen providing details on how to submit schedule changes for the 2021-2022 school year. The window to make changes opens Thursday and closes April 16.

Counselors on campus this year work to connect both virtual and face-to-face students through a new Remind system. Messages are sent out to each grade to keep students and parents up-to-date on upcoming deadlines and events.

“We have created a Remind for each grade level to disseminate information to our students and parents from the counseling office,” counselor Amanda Zambiasi said via email. “We often receive information from outside resources, such as available scholarships and universities, that we want to be able to share with our students. We will continue to post information on our Liberty Counseling website, on our social media sites, and send home vital information through email communications. We hope that this new layer of sharing information through the Remind is helpful for our students and parents.”

For senior Anica Liu, the senior remind is an easy way for her to keep track of college fairs and scholarships.

“The senior remind has helped me stay updated with opportunities offered by Liberty as well as information on colleges and the application process,” Liu said via text.

With students being split between taking classes on campus and virtually, Remind provides a unified platform for students to find the information they need.

“We’re not all physically on campus,” senior Amber Cheng said via text. “The Remind system has really helped us stay informed about things going on at school and information we need to know about applying to colleges.”

Students can join the Remind that corresponds to their grade level to get information more specific to their grade.

The Remind codes are as follows:

Freshman: @fr2024lhs

Sophomore: @so2023lhs

Junior: @jr2022lhs

Senior: @sr2021lhs
