Wingspan: What has been your core inspiration?

Ayub: ”My main inspiration for drawing is seeing beautiful artworks at museums and that motivated me to push myself to be better.”

Wingspan: What type of art classes have you taken so far?

Ayub: “I took pre-AP art last year and currently I am taking pre-AP art 2.”

Wingspan: How has art changed your perspective on life?

Ayub: “Art has changed my perspective on life because it made me view colors differently, such as complementary colors and how colors are used in logos to become more eye-catching and to influence people.”

Wingspan: How do you use art to express yourself?

Ayub: “I use art to express myself because no matter what you draw there’s always a meaning behind the piece.”

Wingspan: What project are you most proud of?

Ayub: ”I’m most proud of this drawing because it took me a lot of time to do the shading and getting the proportions right.”

Wingspan: What are you currently working on?

Ayub: “Currently I am working on drawing wonky characters for my art class.”

Wingspan: Why does art play such an important role in your life?

Ayub: ”It plays an important role in my life because I’m always using art whenever I bake and decorate desserts that I bake. Practicing not only makes me a better artist, but it helps me become more creative with my pieces.”
