Chocolate banana bread

Even though it takes longer to bake, the results are always perfect, and this perfect double chocolate banana bread recipe is the cure for your sweet tooth. The gooey chocolate chunks that rippled throughout the bread are an added bonus that will leave you with a smile. 

Ingredients 

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup grapeseed oil
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups gluten-free all porous flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate

Directions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.
  • Mash the bananas until they are smooth.
  • Add eggs, oil, sugar, and vanilla extract to the bananas and mix.
  • Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, xanthan gum, into the wet ingredients and mix until the batter comes together.
  • Fold in the chopped chocolate and pour the batter into a greased and dusted bread pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes.
