Starting Thursday students can pick up the form to drop an AP or advanced class. The drop form can be found on the counselor’s corner website and an email with the drop link was sent to students and parents last night.

Students have until 4:30 next Thursday to complete the form.

“I think that it’s really important also to talk to the teacher before dropping the class to get insight on what the teacher really thinks,” AP teacher Kacie Smith said. “I think that teachers will really be honest, and I also think that it is important for students to kind of be honest with themselves and with the teacher too.”

Students also need to know that dropping an AP or an advanced class will result in a schedule change that could impact other things such as what teacher you will have for certain classes and lunch.
