Starting Monday at 10 a.m., Governor Greg Abbott will be holding the third special session for the 87th Texas Legislature. The event will consist of five agenda items, among which is the redrawing of Texas’ political boundaries, transgender students and their eligibility to compete in athletics, and COVID-19 vaccine mandates by the state and local government entities.

On the subject of the meeting, Abbott has quoted that, “In addition to redistricting, there are still issues remaining that are critical to building a stronger and brighter future for all Texans.”
