Wingspan: What is your favorite part of football?

Hancock: “I love getting to experience the brotherhood. It’s a lot of fun making memories with my teammates and getting to know them better on and off the field. It has been a really good experience and I’ve made so many good memories.”

Wingspan: What has been your proudest moment on the field?

Hancock: “Beating Reedy. In the final play of the game we came together and it  was really special to me because the game was such a team effort and it was really cool to see all our hard work from the off season and summer pay off on the first game of the season.

Wingspan: Who has been your biggest supporter throughout your football career?

Hancock: “My papa has been my biggest supporter throughout all six years of playing football. He is always the first one at the stadium and the last to leave for every single game.”

Wingspan: What is the hardest thing you have had to learn throughout football?

Hancock: “Our coaches always say you get what you deserve. That applies straight to life. How much we put into something is how much we will get out of it, in all aspects of life. That’s a lesson I will always remember.”

Wingspan: What’s the hardest part about football?

Hancock: “It takes a lot of time and dedication to have success. It’s a slow process to become a great team and it doesn’t just happen overnight.”
