With three games left in the season, volleyball is still in the running for playoffs as they host Centennial in District 9-5A play at 5:45 p.m. Friday.

Senior Lauryn Hill believes the team has already built a good strategy and just needs to execute it.

“If we want to win we just have to do the things we know how to do and keep doing what works,” Hill said. “We know the weaknesses they have so we have to use it to our advantage.”

In the chase towards playoffs, every win matters.

“It is very important for us to win to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot,” head coach Clark Oberle said.

As the regular season comes to a close, Hill has high hopes for the last couple of games.

“I’m expecting us to come out of the game with a win,” she said. “And to continue that same energy through these final games of the regular season.”
