Taking part in the Irving Invitational on Saturday, 8 Redhawks on the school’s academic decathlon team took part in three different categories with the team earning the following individual awards.

Shrenick Gannamani
Music – 1st place
Economics – 2nd place
Social science – 4th place
Art – 5th place
Overall – 5th place in Honors Category

Amulya Rayabhagi
Math – 6th place

Shruti Shah
Math – 6th place

Logan Schaefer
Science – 1st place
Economics – 5th place
Math – 6th place
Overall 6th place in Varsity Category

The team finished in ninth place overall and will be back in action on December 11th at the Frisco invitational.
