Ed Sheeran or Edgar Allen Poe? That’s the question the library’s asking with their new addition to the side of the shelves.

The library has quotes on the side of shelves for students to guess where they were said by Ed Sheeran or Edgar Allen Poe.

Librarian Chelsea Hamilton hopes that this will make poetry more accessible.

“As an English teacher, I felt like students automatically had this I hate poetry kind of feel but once the point got across that everything music is poetry no matter what genre it is, it’s all poetry that it seems a little less scary and hectic and a lot more enjoyable,” Hamilton said.
